This is a detailed installation video of the Teslasy Smart BSD Ambient Light on my 2022 #Tesla Model Y (Right-hand drive). At the time of filming this video, there were a few product features suited to Left-hand drive vehicles only. Hopefully Teslasy wil release an OTA for the right-hand dive market to fix them.

Questions answered

Q: Best tutorial video found so far, thank you! Any need to turn off the car before starting with the wirings? - A: Thanks @alccad. TBH, turning off the car (although not required) is always recommended by manufacturers to protect themselves should issues arise. Personally, I have just always kept it on. I think it’s only an issue if you unplug that power plug for an extended period of time. But of course, follow are your own risk.
Q: Does it keep the selected mode between drives when the car is asleep and not in sentry mode? Or resets each time to the default? - A: Yes, it keeps the selected mode in between drives. Ive had it sitting in my garage for more than a day and it retained the setting
Q: My blind spot indicator function is not working, how to turn this on? Double click the right scroll? - A: Hi Amelia, to activate/deactivate the ambient light feature, you need to do a long press of the right scroll wheel. Double-pressing the right scroll wheel activates/deactivates the ambient light feature. Give that a go and let me know how it goes
Q: Is it possible to have the BSD Atmosphere light APP? - A: Hi there, I’m not aware of any app that can control this product. Based on the product info on the website, the only way to change its setting is via the scroll wheel on the steering wheel.
